What is a Business Credit Card?
Everybody loves plastic these days and it's a much easier way to spend money. Many banks offer businesses credit cards as a way to spend money. These have a number of advantages and do not work in the same way as a personal credit card.
Payments
The balance of your card will be paid off in full every month by the money coming straight out of your bank account. This means that you get the money free for the month and then have to pay it off. The business credit card is a great way to ease your cashflow and make it much easier to spend money.
Traceability
If you spend a lot of cash for your businesses day to day expenses then you can use a business credit card to keep track of your payments. While you will still need to keep receipts it will be easier to see where you spend the money and as a result accounting should be much easier.
Applying
If you are applying for a business credit card then you will need to undergo a personal credit check. The limits placed on your card will be subject to your status and needs. You will need to discuss this with your bank manager and also have a company meeting to put this information in writing.
