Default PayPal for Canadians

Some of our customers try to get away with using PayPal shopping cart or BuyNow buttons for cheap payment processing.

The problem with PayPal is that they do not adequately support Canadian taxes. GST is 5% unless your customer is in the HST provinces at 13%. If your province charges PST, you also need to collect this from customers within your province.

Web Payments Pro has recently been released for Canadian businesses but you still need to have an eCommerce system that can handle Canadian taxes.

We have not used WPP yet. The price seems right. Does anyone have any experience? I have been told that it supports transaction processing in multiple currencies and since our systems are all multi-currency, I was wondering specifically if anyone is using this feature.

In Canada most of people use Paypal because paypal not shared personal information with online merchant. And if shopper never heard of your company so reluctant share financial information.
