Default Checking Statements

I've just written a blog post on how important trust is in order for credit card transactions to work smoothly and quickly. The post can be read here.

Anyway I was wondering how many people realise that this much trust is involved when they hand over their card? Also how many of you actually check your credit and bank account statements on a monthly basis?

I quickly scan through the online statements although I probably wouldn't notice if the prices were slightly higher than they should be.

To be honest I never check my statement. I personally don't like using cards with my account because it's like stumbling around in the dark. I rarely have any idea how much money is in my account at any time and just assume that people have taken the right amount of money.

People could charge me anything and I probably wouldn't notice. As long as I don't go overdrawn I will probably never find out.

I think I should start checking my statement more regularly!!

    Interesting post

Not meaning to sound like a nerd but I do actually check my statements every month! Whether or not I would notice small differences I'm not sure.
