I don't personally think the user experience is "better", but I do think it instills a sense of security with the client. Google is a household name these days, and their fraud protection and pro-buyer attitude definitely brings sales through their interface where it's available.

Personally, I think it is a very similar experience. I've been a PayPal customer for over 5 years and have loved working with them. As far as user experience, it doesn't get much easier.
I have ordered a few things with Google Checkout and did not have any complaints. However, I didn't notice anything fantastic that was worth changing my customers off of PayPal.

Google Checkout is new. Google Checkout has not number of merchants and far from dissever that PayPal offers.

Eclipse is well thought of for sound quality; however, I doubt you're really going to hear a difference. Most differences people hear in head units are relating to built in EQ settings, loud feature, or volume differences due to different pre-out voltage, or simply different volume levels at different points on the knob. I've personally always found Alpine to be a little more user friendly - especially if you ever plan to add an iPOD.
I really believe its a matter of opinion. My personal choice would be Eclipse. When I had an Eclipse unit in my Ranger I was able to get enough bass from the unit to vibrate the hell outta my mirrors. And still had very sharp clarity. |
