Signing up for new account on this forum..

I did notice a 'double input' that I was required to do upon signing up for an account here. After I input my username/password that was desired, I was taken to another screen that wanted all the same info again, plus more, before it would send the link to complete the registration.

I know it's not probably something the Admin here didn't set up, but rather a "undocumented feature" of vBulletin.

Just so you know ahead of time, before others ask the same question.

Maybe it depends on which 'sign up' link you click on.

Went pretty smooth for me. Got logged in even before I confirmed email. Though I had to validate email before posting
