You do need a warehouse. Otherwise you are just working as a "rep" for the candy company; you are sending them customers and they ship the candy right from the factory. That is ok but you are more like a salesman than a "business owner".
Pay $10 at the Secretary of States Office and buy a trade name. Pay $10 to Yahoo or Godaddy to buy a domain name. Then hire someone to host your new website. Probably Weebly or Syntha Site ( i don't work for them) because they are cheap and reliable.. Then you are officially open for business. You can wait to accept credit cards. You can have money wired to you and you ship the candy. You might have to interview trucking companies who will go to the candy manufacturer to pick up the candy. But the ideal situation is for you to have a warehouse ( 50˘ per square foot per month to rent) and store the candy yourself. You could be open for business tomorrow.
