When PayPal isn't Supported in Your Country
Paypal has made it easier for anyone to send money internationally as cheaply as possible. There are however many different problems which affect PayPal users. One of the biggest is that not all countries are supported.
Paypal will not register accounts in every country, and even those that it will there is no guarantee that you can withdraw the money to your bank account. In China for example you are allowed to register an account, however it's impossible to withdraw the money to a bank account.
Offshore Bank Account
Opening an offshore bank account in America is one solution, it is possible for foreigners to open a US bank account however this often involves a trip to America to set it up.
Virtual Bank Accounts
A much easier option is to open a virtual US bank account. This is a bank account which can be set up to accept ACH payments however it will be linked to a Debit card. This is not a bank account in the normal sense as it's not possible to transfer money between accounts. Once the money is received it can then be withdrawn at almost any ATM worldwide even if your country is not supported by PayPal.
Searching for Virtual US bank accounts turns up a few companies offering the service. One of the most well known and trusted is Payoneer, they have recently started offering the service for anyone who applies for a card. There is an annual fee of around $100, but fast withdrawals will make this worthwhile.
It's important to accept PayPal as a payment option because it's one of the most trusted international forms of payment. Fortunately there are ways to solve this if your country isn't supported.
