We have some basic and easy to understand rules to make this community a better place. Please read below:

We have setup MerchantAccountTalk to be a useful community for all those involved in e-commerce and taking payments online. Our goals are community orientated and we wish to become the leading forum for all things e-commerce.

We do not intend MerchantAccountTalk to become an advert or spam infested message board like so many others are. We will be placing a couple of adverts at our discretion within the forum and we have extremely strict anti-spam policies. These are:

1) You are allowed one (1) post per calender week (7 days) in the advertising forums only
2) You are allowed one (1) hyperlink in your signature with a description of three (3) lines or less of your company
3) You are not allowed to link to your own company in any of the non-advertising forums. If your company is being discussed and questions are asked, you may respond to questions asked without linking to your website
4) You are not permitted to PM/Email users with special offers UNLESS EXPLICITY REQUESTED

These rules are for the good of the community. It also goes without saying that we expect polite, respectful posting at all times.

Those that break our advertising rules will be handed an immediate lifetime ban.
