When you say, "problematic", what sort of problems do you see and how do you "work around" those problems?
Most Internet payment systems have quirks with integration and often these are determined by your place / business residence.
PayPal is probably the best known, but often most problematic when it comes to paying people beyond a single tier (in commission based options).
Looking forward to simplifying my merchant needs regarding payment options from C2B, B2C and B2B transactions.
Cheers
Sage

I've never actually had any problems using paypal in terms of integration. I think because Paypal is used by pretty much everyone it seems to be included in most ecommerce software as standard.
I am currently having a game integrating RBS worldpay using invisible install although that could just be my web developer being problematic!
This post isn't to suggest that I don't have any problems with PayPal because there are plenty of things to choose from! But in terms of integrating it's easy!
I know this is a very old post, but if anyone else is having similar problems then they might be able to get some help by giving more details.
