Default Who do you use?

So for all fellow US-based merchants, who do you use? And if you're allowed to disclose what type of rates you get it'd be very interesting to see

Personally, I prefer PayPal. That is what I use. However, I have used Authorize.net, TransAct, and Google. PayPal is easy, everyone can use it and it just works well.

That's my 2.5 cents

Hello ChiefGoFor,

Are you using their PaypalPaymentsPro system are just their standard Paypal payment system? I know PaypalPaymentsPro works more like a standard merchant account.

We are currently using Card Services Int. through the Linkpoint.net gateway but we are looking for better and more cost effective options.

Yeah, I agree with PayPal (Standard) 2.9% +.30. I especially like the convenience of the debit card.

I looked into Google Checkout and they do have lower rates but I don't like the idea of my money being held for a certain period of time.

I am, however, open to any other gateways provided that they are as efficient.

Once there are some options posted here, is there the ability to do a poll thread? A poll with comments would be very helpful.

I use PayPal in various forms and have had no issues. I also have Google Checkout but it is not active on any sites at this time.

I use Paypal. But I just don't like their limits and sensitive system , and the fees!

I checked the permissions and you should be able to post polls. Someone want to give it a try?

@RichardK
I am not using PayPal Pro. The regular suffices for what I need.
